Impact Suite is designed to be a self-directed and interactive learning experience that you can pursue anonymously in your home, office, or through your mobile device on the go. We are committed to maintaining confidentiality in every phase of our relationship with you as you seek more lasting freedom from sexual compulsivity.
This privacy policy outlines the treatment of information collected by the Impact Suite platform, the Impact Suite app and associated communities (on the impactsuite.com website or accessible through its app). Protecting your private information is top priority, with technology used on this site specifically designed to protect your right to privacy. Please understand, however, that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online this information cannot be made 100% secure and, in some cases, that information may be intercepted, collected and used by others. That being said, we follow very high, industry-standard practices of data security to protect your information.
By using the Impact Suite platform, you consent to the data practices reviewed in this statement.
What personal information do we collect from users?
We collect two types of information (personal information and anonymous information) and we may use these sources of information to create a third type of information, aggregate information.
2.1 Personal information – Direct and indirect information that identifies a particular individual, such as the individual's name, gender, date of birth, email address, and telephone number. If you sign up for a Impact Suite subscription or other services, such as Impact Suite Coaching, we collect billing and credit card/debit information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. Impact Suite may also collect in its surveys demographic information, such as your age, gender, household income, race, religion and sexual health information.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Impact Suite’s community forum (which is against our own forum guidelines and rules), this information may be collected and used by others.
2.2 Anonymous information – Information that does not directly or indirectly identify an individual. This includes automatically collected information about your computer hardware and software. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Impact Suite website.
2.3 Aggregate information – Information about groups or categories of visitors, which cannot be used to identify an individual, such as a number of hits per page and traffic sources.
2.4 Aggregate information in connection with employer or affiliated organizations – Aggregate information regarding program progress not limited to: tracker information, weekly & monthly inventory results, log in count, sign up date etc. may be used anonymously in utilization reports for the user affiliated/sponsored organization.
Children under thirteen
Impact Suite does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. Children under 13 are not allowed on the website, even with parental permission.
When and how do we collect information?
Information is gathered through forms filled out when you apply to Impact Suite , respond to a questionnaire or inventory, follow-up surveys, make a payment, fill out Daily Tracker info, fill out Wellness Plan strategies, Quick Questions, Action Follow-up Questions, or complete any other form impactsuite.com . When sharing thoughts on comment threads or through the journal, web forums, you are also sharing information.
Do we use 'cookies'?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For example, if you personalize Impact Suite pages, or register with the website (impactsuite.com ) or services, a cookie helps Impact Suite to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. How do we use your information?
This Impact Suite experience involves regular communication with you via email, automated reminders and other important feedback. We assure you that your email remains confidential and will never be used for any other purpose outside of Impact Suite’s own mission.
6.1 We collect aggregate information for internal and marketing use only; we do not sell or rent your personal information to any individual, organization, company, government entity, or the public.
6.2 We use the information you provide when conducting a transaction to complete that transaction only. We do not share this information with outside parties.

6.4 We may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or to inform you of potential new services that may be offered.
6.5 We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. Impact Suite may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Impact Suite’s, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
6.6 Personally identifiable information provided to us online will not be used in ways unrelated to purposes described above without the user having an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Third Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. Impact Suite does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Impact Suite will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Impact Suite or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Impact Suite ; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Impact Suite , or the public. In short, Impact Suite reserves the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information as we reasonably believe is necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (ii) enforce the Terms, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect the rights, property or safety of Impact Suite , its users and the public.

Our commitment to data security

We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards as we do not process financial transactions on this site. We use regular Malware Scanning.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
Securing the information that you share with us online is a top priority. In order to prevent unauthorized access to your information, we have implemented electronic, administrative, and physical security measures. Please be aware that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are impenetrable.
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.
Impact Suite is committed to the protection of children on the Internet. As such, it has integrated COPPA compliance features into its Impact Suite products to protect the private information of children under the age of 13 years old. In particular, we do not specifically market to children under 13 - nor do we allow children under age 13 on the website. During the process of creating an account, a user is required to provide their age. If the child is determined to be under 13 years of age, Impact Suite will not allow them to sign-up or collect or store any personally identifiable data.
To ensure the highest level of compliance Impact Suite has consulted with legal experts to determine what features and functions were legally appropriate for adolescents (13 and over in the teen platform) and adults. To the best of our knowledge, Impact Suite conforms to the regulations outlined in COPPA.
California Online Privacy Protection Act
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. Can-Spam Act
